There’s a lot of momentum around Mitchell Trubisky right now. Todd McShay is adding fuel to that fire. The ESPN analyst now has Trubisky going first overall to the Browns, shaking up that pick for the first time. Myles Garrett has been the guy all along, but now it seems as if he’s not. The 49ers smokescreen of quarterback interest may just land them the stud pass rusher after all.
For the Titans, it’s pretty chalky. Marshon Lattimore and Corey Davis are the selections. I think I’ve personally written up Davis and Lattimore at least 100 times at this point. They are my CB1 and WR1 respectively, so I’d be thrilled with both.
McShay has Jamal Adams off the board at three to the Bears. I’d be surprised if the Titans got the opportunity to pick Adams, but if he’s on the board he’s in play big time.
OJ Howard lands 6th, Solomon Thomas falls to 7th, while Christian McCaffrey lands 8th. Mike Williams comes off the board 14th to the Eagles while John Ross tumbles down to 31st.
At this point, Lattimore and Davis sound pretty dang good to me, but we know Robinson is working on a trade. Trubisky going first would hurt that deal, but I’m still not sold he goes there. We’ll see.
