NFL Draft 2017: Mel Kiper and Todd McShay give some interesting player comps

Minus the Watson to Mariota comp, these are pretty spot on.

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Todd McShay and Mel Kiper put out some prospect player comps this morning (In$ider) that were pretty interesting. The first one on their list is John Ross and DeSean Jackson. I have seen a lot of people comparing Ross to Brandin Cooks, but this is the first time I have seen Jackson. McShay notes in his comments that Ross is a better route runner than DJax. I am starting to fall in love with Ross if the Titans can get him with the 12th pick or later (obviously in the event of a trade).

McShay had the stretch of the year when he compared Deshaun Watson to Marcus Mariota. Kiper called McShay out for this comparison being a stretch. I tend to agree with the hair here.

The next comp was Mike Williams to Alshon Jeffery. Jommy has been saying this one for months now. It is nice to see Kiper and McShay coming around.

So let me ask you this, if Cooks Ross turns out to be DeSean Jackson, will you be happy with him being the pick assuming the Titans get him 12th or later.

Where would you be happy with the Titans taking Williams if he is Jeffery? Is 5 too high for you?
