Titans Links!
"How do I? Say goodbyeee..." If you haven't heard: The Titans released cornerback Jason McCourty yesterday. He was a sixth round draft pick way back in 2009, and was the most "homegrown" player on the roster. The cut happened just days before the offseason program began on Monday, so he doesn't have to show up just to get cut later on down the road. The team would have still been active in getting a cornerback even if they hadn't of released McCourty. McCourty's release also isn't necessarily a sign that the Titans are actively trying to land Richard Sherman. It could still be a possibility (depending on the trade cost), but it's not a definite sign the Titans are trying to trade for Sherman.

Hypothetically: What could the Titans get from the Browns for pick number 5? Robinson has already proven to us that he is willing to wheel and deal when it comes to trading away draft picks. The Browns have almost too much draft capital, and it wouldn't be hard to imagine them jumping up to grab their second guy a little bit earlier. PK has two scenarios/calculations: the first being the Titans trade away number 5 for the Browns' number 12 in the first, and number 52 in the second, and the second one being the Titans trade away number 5 for the Browns' number 12, and number 65 in the third.
