DeAngelo Yancey visiting the Titans today

An intriguing late round prospect.

NCAA Football: Purdue at Northwestern Caylor Arnold-USA TODAY Sports

We already knew that DeAngelo Yancey was scheduled for a visit with the Titans. Now we know that the visit is taking place today:

Yancey had 49 catches for 951 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2016. Those numbers don’t jump off the screen at you, but it is nothing to sneeze at in a terrible offense.

It will be interesting to see if Yancey gets drafted. Here is the quote about him on his draft profile at NFL.com:

"Priority free agent. Has to play down the field because he's not going to get open underneath. He's got size and can run a little bit so he's got a chance."

That quote came from an AFC South regional scout. Could it be someone with the Titans?

The Titans clearly have enough interest in him to use one of their pre-draft visits on him. Maybe they just want to get in good with him in hopes of being able to sign him after the draft is over.
