Anthony Fasano has agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins per Jeff Darlington of ESPN
Source: Dolphins have reached agreement with tight end Anthony Fasano, who is coming back to Miami where he played 5 seasons. Solid pickup.
— Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) March 9, 2017
Fasano is not a guy that was every going to put up huge numbers, but he was a big part of what the Titans did offensively. He was a solid contributor in the run game and could catch the occasional pass. He caught the winning touchdown pass against the Saints in Mike Mularkey first game as the interim head coach back in 2015.
The loss of Fasano makes a tight end a real possibility in the first round. A guy like O.J. Howard could be viewed as a younger version of Fasano with more upside in the passing game.
This 2017 roster will look much different than the 2015 roster that opened camp with #allthetightends- Delanie Walker, Fasano, Craig Stevens, and Philip Supernaw. The only guy still currently on the roster is Delanie.
Best of luck to Fasano with his new team!
