Ready for another twist in NFL free agency? Apparently the Rams are looking for a trade partner to take Trumaine Johnson off their hands just days after handing him the franchise tag for the second straight year. I can only assume this means that long term contract negotiations didn’t exactly get off to a great start.
The #Rams are in discussions with several teams about potentially trading franchised CB Trumaine Johnson, per teams involved. Big domino.

Johnson could be another target back on the board for the Titans as they look to improve their cornerback room over the next few days. I can't imagine them giving up much for a guy that they will have to negotiate a brand new and expensive free agent deal with, but it's a good fall back option if they strike out on the Bouye/Gilmore/Ryan/Kirkpatrick sweepstakes. He would give the Titans a big, long playmaking corner if he ended up here.
