The offseason rumor mill has really cranked up this week. The Titans have been connected to yet another player while in Indianapolis for the combine. This time it is Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick per NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport:
#Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick has an intriguing market: Rival #Steelers are in the mix, as are Dick LeBeau & the #Titans. One of the top CBs.

It's no secret that the Titans are going to be looking to improve their corners this offseason, but this is the first name at that spot that has been linked to the team. I wrote about Kirkpatrick in depth here, but to summarize, I'm fairly lukewarm on him overall. Kirkpatrick is an extremely tall and long corner with pretty good speed and ball skills. His negatives are his very slight frame and his average at best tackling.
He is absolutely an upgrade over our current group though, and his play has improved year after year since coming in to the league. I'd prefer Bouye or Ryan personally, but Kirkpatrick is probably 3rd for me of all the available corners (yes, I've really soured on Gilmore after watching his 2016 reps) so I would be happy to get him. What do you guys think?
