John Ross just ran a 4.22 40. That is the fastest in the history of the NFL combine. Chris Johnson was the record holder at 4.24. CJ has already reached out to congratulate Ross on Twitter:
@watchjross congrats

So there has been a lot of talk this week about the Titans potentially trading for Saints WR Brandin Cooks. The reason that deal makes sense is because the Titans need a speed guy that can get down the field. Now that Ross has run the fastest time ever, would you rather the Titans hold the 18th pick and try to draft Ross with it, or would you rather them trade that pick for Cooks?
The plus for adding Cooks is that we already know he can produce on an NFL field. The minus is that he is going to be really expensive, probably starting next year.
Also, Adidas had promised to give an island to anyone who broke CJ’s record, provided they were wearing Adidas cleates. Ross was wearing Nike.
