Jim Wyatt examines the Free Agents the Titans signed, and how they fit in. He only breaks down the seven newbies, and leaves out the returning guys (like Klug for example). Of the seven: the three new Special Teams players (Weems, Trawick, and Bates) are who I'm the most interested in. Special Teams has been just plain out sucky these past few seasons, and I'd love to see these guys step in, and at least elevate the play of that unit to "above average" (I know. I aim high in my expectations).
Quick Hit: Wyatt's mailbag.
The Titans have a new Nose Tackle, and his name is Sylvester Williams. Much like a lot of people, I'm sure, I asked, "Who is that?" when the signing was first announced. In short: he formerly played for the Broncos who drafted him in the first round back in 2013, and he won a Super Bowl with them. He also has played in 60 games with 48 starts.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
