This is a fun draft for the Titans for a couple of reasons. The first is that the Titans have 2 first round picks. That always makes the lead up to the draft, and the night of the draft so much more fun. The second reason is that we really have no idea what the Titans are going to do. With the exception of quarterback and offensive line, the Titans could pick any position in the first round.
With all of that being said, Mike Mayock has released his second round of position rankings for the 2017 NFL Draft. Mayock only does one mock, the day before the draft, so this is where we get his insight on how he feels about players.
The most interesting group to me is wide receiver. We all know the Titans need a #1 receiver. We all think they are going to take one in the first round, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they don’t.
Anyway, Mayock has Corey Davis ranked as his #1 receiver. I wonder how good Jon Robinson is at reading the other teams in the draft. The fact that Davis hasn’t been able to run is going to hurt his stock with some teams. Does that mean he will fall all the way to #18? COULD THE TITANS GET THE BEST RECEIVER IN THIS DRAFT AT 18??? Sorry, I got a little bit excited there.
Take a look at Mayock’s rankings. Is there anything that stands out to you?
