So Dont’a Hightower is either really, really trying to get the Patriots to up there money, or he just really likes attention. We are now on the 5th day of free agency. He is the best player left on the market, and there is no shortage of teams that are interested in him.
There isn’t anything new this morning, other than a tweet from Ian Rapoport which tells us what we have suspected all along:

It’s time to just go ahead and make that happen, Dont’a.
It will be interesting to see what his contract looks like. Will he take a shorter deal to stay with the Patriots during this last 2-3 year run it looks like New England is loading up for?
The Titans will be better than the Patriots in 3 years, but it would be hard to walk away from that club with what they have done this offseason.
Whatever the case, Hightower needs to make a decision today.
