NFL Free Agency 2017: Kendall Wright signs with the Bears

I bet he ends up being a good player for them.

Former Titans first round pick Kendall Wright has found a new home. He has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Chicago Bears per Adam Caplan of ESPN:

It just never clicked with Wright here. The coaching staff obviously wasn’t pleased with the effort he put in off the field. He was inactive for most games even after he came back from the hamstring injury that cost him most of camp and the first part of the 2016 season.

With all of that being said, I think Wright can still be a good receiver in this league. He has the ability to get down the field. The Titans didn’t ever use him in that capacity- maybe the Bears will. Here’s to hoping they can find a way to keep him from falling down every time he touches the ball.

Chicago needed a receiver after losing Alshon Jeffery to the Eagles in free agency earlier this week.
