The Titans are wanting Murray and his fellow running backs to go out quicker for passes. Mularkey and crew have been reviewing the 2016 season, and he says he has seen running backs dedicating too much time to pass protecting. He says pass blocking has been heavily emphasized due to it being horrendous in the past, but he thinks they have over-emphasized it too much. The Titans saw some improvement out of rookie defensive lineman Austin Johnson. Johnson felt he got better in the defense as the season progressed. He also knows that he needs to keep getting better. LeBeau says that Johnson's improvement has been constant and steady, and that he feels it accelerated in the last few games of the season. Cornerback is definitely a position of need this off-season, and I'd expect the organization to bring in some solid ones. Jason Wolf breaks down five cornerbacks the Titans could look at in the upcoming draft. The five players he lists are: Marshon Lattimore, Teez Tabor, Marlon Humphrey, Sidney Jones, and Tre'Davious White.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
