Here’s what I wonder: Will the Titans be a consensus top 10 team in power rankings around the internet if they sweep the west coast trip? Does it matter how they win the games? These are questions that keep me up at night #notreally.

(This week they are talking impact rookies for each team.)
Adoree' Jackson has been a jack-of-all-trades for the Titans. He has broken up 11 passes on defense, tied for most on the team. He's one of four players in the NFL with 200 kick return and punt return yards and he also has gained 55 yards on five rushes.

Much complaining from Titans fans that their squad isn't higher. How could it be? Tennessee continues to eke past bottom-of-the-barrel teams. This is coming from no Titans hater, either -- your hack writer predicted them to win the AFC South this season. Yet, the Texans were in position to win the game at the end -- despite missing six of their main players. The Titans' passing game is still mostly absentee, regardless of whether Tennessee fashions itself as a smashmouth team. Marcus Mariota averaged under 7 yards per attempt, which is way too low when play action should produce plenty of intermediate completions. That said, Dick LeBeau's defense closed the door when it mattered.

The Titans continue to win ugly, as Tennessee fell behind the Houston Texans 10-0 on Sunday before rallying to earn a 24-13 win to stay atop the AFC South.
