It’s Always Sunny in Tennessee

Look nobody hated the Mularkey hire more than me. I went right to change.org and typed up a petition to the NFL to force the Titans ownership to sell the team to someone who actually wanted to win. I was angry and irrational looking back on it. (I never posted it but I still had it archived so I’ll post that for my embarrassment later.)

He’s slowly changing my mind. I say slowly because there’s room for improvement and that’s for every team. I’ve been back and forth with the system, but at the end of the day we have an identity:

Watching this team has been confusing, exciting, and stressful. Run, Run, Pass has been the single most frustrating thing to watch when it doesn’t work. They constantly put Mariota in 3rd and long situations, never getting him into rhythm. There are so many plays left on the field, and when you have passion for this team like I do, well, the blood pressure starts to rise.

But guys, we’re 8-4.

We’re on the brink of something. Say what you want about Mularkey, at least his number one has always been protecting Mariota for better or worse. What has Pagano done to protect Luck? Speaking of, let’s check in on the Colts and see how they’re doing.

I can’t tell you what you should feel about this team, that’s your right, you have a right to be angry, you have a right to be worried, but let’s save the battle royale for when the season is actually over. No amount of ripping into another Titans fan will fix the teams issues, you’re doing that because it makes YOU feel better. It generates discontent for each other and makes MCM a not so pleasant place. I don’t want that. What I want is for fans here to put their differences aside and get behind this team. We ALL have ideas for what this team should do, but our ideas have no affect on the outcome. I have some ideas for later down the line with site content, but for right now, I want everyone to think before you post and reply. Having a debate is perfectly fine, echo chambers suck. When it starts to get personal, step away from the keyboard or put the phone down, it’s not worth it. I love this team and I love this site, help me make it a better one for new fans as we continue our rise to contenders.

Now, with all of that being said:

I WAS ANGRY
