Based on the results of yesterday’s games, we now know who the Tennessee Titans will be playing next season. We still don’t know whether or not this group will be a playoff team this season, but we already know their 2018 opponents, thanks to the settling of several divisions during this past weekend’s games.
Here’s a look at who the Titans will get at home and on the road next year.
Home
Away
Colts
Jaguars
Texans
As I sort through this schedule, I’m reminded that the Titans likely won’t have an easier path to the playoffs than the one laid out for them this season. Tennessee avoided Deshaun Watson once and Andrew Luck twice. That’s likely as down as you’ll see the Texans or Colts over the next few seasons, assuming Luck can return.
They will have a much tougher task of staying in contention for the AFC South crown next season, unless this offense can get back to performing at a consistently high level.
There’s obviously an entire offseason of moves to be made, but what are your early thoughts on how the 2018 opponents look?
