Titans CB LeShaun Sims injures hamstring in Wednesday’s practice

This is not good.

NFL: Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans The Tennessean-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans headed into this week of practice knowing there was a chance that Logan Ryan might miss Sunday’s game against the Rams with an ankle injury. Ryan didn’t practice today and is considered day to day.

The secondary took another blow when LeShaun Sims left practice with a hamstring injury. Mike Mularkey said afterwards that they didn’t know the severity yet, but Sims was scheduled to undergo and MRI. That’s not good. I would say there is a very good chance that he misses the game on Sunday.

That means we could see the Titans running Adoree Jackson, Brice McCain and Kalan Reed out there in 3-wide sets, which the Rams run 80% of the time. That won’t end well for the Titans.

The news was somewhat better on the Derrick Morgan front. He was able to get in a limited practice today. He should still be on track to play on Sunday.

Karl Klug missed practice and won’t play against the Rams.
