Three weeks ago we said the Titans would be favored in every remaining game. We said that because there were 4 bad teams left on the schedule and the last 2 games were at home. The assumption (you know what happens when you assume) was also that Marcus Mariota and the offense would figure it out.
Well that hasn’t happened and San Francisco got a new quarterback. That leads us to this week where the Titans are a 2-point underdog against the 3-win 49ers. The total in the game is 44. That is down a point from the 45 where it opened.
That gives the Titans an implied total of 21. Last week I finally said I would take the under on the Titans number (for recreational purposes only). There is a part of me that is tempted to jump back on the over here, but I just can’t do that until I see some type of change from Marcus Mariota.
