Last year the Titans offensive line was the strength of the team. They had a rookie All-Pro right tackle and a Pro Bowl left tackle. With everyone coming back it seemed like they would be even better, maybe even in the conversation as the best o-line in the league. That hasn’t been the case this year.
It is hard to say exactly what went wrong, but it is safe to say that it isn’t just one thing and there is no easy fix. The best answer seems to be that everyone just needs to play better. Maybe the now famous speech that Terry Robiskie gave at halftime of the Colts game will light a fire under this group and the will play better....or maybe not.
There are a lot of problems with the Titans offense right now, but it all starts up front with the offensive line. Here’s to hoping they can find a way to get on last year’s level and the offense can be what we thought it was going to be at the beginning of the year.
