Should the Titans target defensive line support or... via Draft

The Tennessee Titans are in a perfect position to take control over the division and finally reach the playoffs. If the Titans can beat the wounder divisional opponents, there's a chance the Titans can win 10 games by the end of the season. The major concern is defense, for good reason too, but I'm willingly looking to support the defense. The main issue has been the defensive line not being effective in creating sacks or forced plays to create a turnover.

You may notice that the title drew you into believing this is primarily about drafting the best possible rookie for the defensive front or signing a undrafted rookie, or it could be another skill position. Before I get carried away, I know that the secondary is finally starting to gel, based on the previous few games. Granted, those were not lethal offenses, but the defense didn't allow multiple touchdowns against those teams, that's a positive sign of growth. But... my favorite defensive player in the country would make this team scary in the secondary. Freaking... Minkah Fitzpatrick. I am not a Bama fan, nor SEC Homer despite I watch a lot of SEC football, but this kid is special. Nick Saban is going out of his way to suggest Minkah is the 'best' defensive player he's coached in previous years.

Why consider Minkah, when we already have KB31? Look. Minkah is the PERFECT strong safety and rotational defensive back piece like KB to swap them out conversely as either a safety or corner back. Minkah Fitzpatrick is a intelligent visual and recon specialist to predict the play and make a play on the ball. He's been getting comparisons to Troy. Of course. But, imagine this... Minkah can come on the field as pass and run support while lined up with KB, Jonathan Cyprien, AJax, Logan Ryan, and whomever else. Minkah would probably play man coverage to support other defenders in zone blitzes.

Here's the good thing about this upcoming Draft. The Titans can spend enough currency in this coming Draft on a hand few of defensive linemen and linebackers to support the veterans for more reserved roles, instead of the veterans getting close to 65 to 79 percent of snaps.

The Titans will spend either Draft capital or money on a solid guard for the interior line. Find a premier backup QB in the Draft too. Here's a under-the-radar QB if he commits, Iowa State's QB. This kid can ball, for a walk on! He' an ideal fit to this offense, but the sample size may be limited, yet his wins are impressive to make some noise in the college rankings.

Who's a offensive weapon the Titans may want to target? Anthony Miller from Memphis. Represent!

Anyways, that' all I have today! Have a good day!
