Titans-Texans round 2: What are the odds?

The Titans and Texans meet for the second time this season on Sunday. We aren’t going to talk about the first game. This time the game is in Nashville and Tom Savage is Houston’s quarterback. It’s a new day!

The Titans opened as and are still a 7 point favorite. The total opened at 42 but has moved up to 43.5. That gives the Titans implied total of 25.25. Every week I tell you, for recreational purposes only, to bet on the Titans offense. If you have listened to me you are probably reading this with no roof over your head. BUT I AM GOING BACK THE PROVERBIAL WELL AGAIN THIS WEEK!!!1

The Texans are 17th DVOA against the pass. I haven’t tracked that number all season, but you can bet that it was much higher before J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus went down. As Terry has been saying on the podcast, this should absolutely be a “get right” spot for Marcus Mariota and the Titans passing game.

So what say you? Investing in the Titans this weekend?
