Titans activate Harry Douglas

The Titans have activated Harry Douglas from the IR. We knew that was coming when he returned to practice last week. There was no shot Mike Mularkey wasn’t going to have his boy back out there as soon as possible. Darius Jennings was waived to make room for Douglas on the roster. Bless his heart.

Hopefully Douglas won’t be active on game day, but if Rishard Matthews isn’t able to go tomorrow in Indy, I think Douglas gets the nod. That is quite a downgrade.

I think all of us fear this:

It would be utterly ridiculous for Douglas to get snaps over Taywan Taylor. We know what Douglas is- an almost serviceable receiver. Taylor is young and still has a lot of learning to do, but the sky is the limit for his potential. Having Douglas out there over him would just take longer for that potential to be realized.
