It is hard to think about coming off the bad loss to the Steelers, but as Titans fans we actually have a lot to be thankful for. The Titans haven’t played all that well yet but are still 6-4. They are currently the 5 seed in the AFC Playoffs and still control their own destiny in the AFC South. After the product they have put out there for the last decade, we should be thankful for this team.
Looking ahead, the Titans have 4 straight games against teams that aren’t very good. That presents them with a great opportunity to roll off a bunch of wins and be right in the mix when the Rams and Jaguars come to town at the end of December. Those two games are probably going to decide the division and they are both at Nissan Stadium.
Marcus Mariota is going to play better. His chemistry with Corey Davis is going to improve. There are a lot of good things ahead for this offense. There are a lot of years where their play early on would have put them in a position to play catch-up in December. That isn’t the case this year in a weak AFC, and for that we should all be thankful!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
