That was a really crazy game. It felt like the Titans dominated the game, especially in the first half. The offense was crisp and the defense looked like it was clicking on all cylinders. Then A.J. Green took a slant 70 yards to the house and everything changed.
The Marcus Mariota went full MariGOATa and led the Titans on a 12 play 73 yard drive that ended with a 7-yard touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray. Mariota got hit pretty good on the drive after a scramble but bounced back up and finished it off.
The defense had a really good day minus the 70 yard play to Green. Adoree Jackson and Logan Ryan are legit NFL corners. This is the first time the Titans have had a good secondary in a really long time.
Hopefully the Chargers can hold on against the Jaguars and allow the Titans to have sole possession of first place.
