Titans-Dolphins: Tale of two offenses

I feel like I should start every post this week with the caveat that none of these stats are relevant if Marcus Mariota isn’t able to go and Matt Cassel is under center. With that being said, NFL Matchup on ESPN tweeted this out this morning:

So even with that stinker in Houston on Sunday, the Titans are still 8th in the league on drives that end in points.

In a non-Titans related point, I love that the Rams are at the top of this list. It just goes to show you the difference a coaching staff can make. They were so bad under Jeff Fisher last year.

Now we look at this week’s opponent, the Dolphins:

This really is a “get right” spot for the Titans defense. The Jay Cutler led Dolphins haven’t scored a touchdown since week 2 despite having a lot of talent at the skill positions on offense.
