COREY DAVIS RETURNS TO TITANS PRACTICE on a limited basis; Delanie Walker misses practice

NFL: Oakland Raiders at Tennessee Titans Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans were back on the practice field today after the bye. Corey Davis was on the practice field in a limited basis, but Mike Mularkey sounded very positive about Davis being able to play on Sunday. Mularkey said that Davis is ahead of Johnathan Cyprien today, who also practiced on a limited basis. Both should be able to go, but they are in more of a wait and see how it responds phase with Cyprien. That is good news all around.

DeMarco Murray was also limited in practice today. That thing is going to bother him all year if they don’t ever give him a couple of weeks off- which they apparently refuse to do.

Delanie Walker did not practice today. He is recovering from a bone bruise on his ankle that he suffered against the Browns. It sounds like he has a good chance to play. They just wanted to give him some extra time coming off the bye.

The news is not as good on Quinton Spain. He missed practice with turf toe. Mularkey said Spain wouldn’t be able to play if the game was today and that he is likely out. Look for Brian Schwenke to get the start for Spain at left guard.
