Week 8 in the AFC South: Is Deshaun Watson the greatest?

It was a light week in the AFC South with the Titans and Jaguars both being on a bye. All of the talk from week 8 has been about Deshaun Watson. The media has already started on Watson’s Hall of Fame bust. Don’t get me wrong, I think Watson is great. As an Alabama fan I am fully aware of Watson’s talent. He torched Bama in back to back years in the national championship game.

HOWEVA, it is a little early to crown him the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL. There has to be regression coming for him. He threw for 402 yards and 4 touchdowns yesterday on only 19 completions. That just can’t keep up.

With all of that being said, the Texans look like the best team in the division right now even after yesterday’s loss in Seattle. The Titans will need to play better after the bye if they plan on winning the AFC South.

The Colts went to Cincinnati yesterday and nearly won. It took a late pick 6 from Carlos Dunlap for the Bengals to win. This is why you don’t bet on the NFL.

  1. Titans 4-3
  2. Jaguars 4-3
  3. Texans 3-4
  4. Colts 2-6
