No line on the Titans-Ravens yet

Joe Flacco left the Ravens game on Thursday night after sustaining a concussion. We should get an update on his status today when John Harbuagh speaks to the media. My guess is that Flacco will still be in the concussion protocol and we will have to wait and see how he progresses throughout the week. Ryan Mallett will get the start if Flacco is unable to go.

I’m no oddsmaker, but my guess is that the Titans open up as a 2 point favorite if it looks like Flacco will play and 3-4 point favorite if it looks like Mallett will be the starter.

It will be interesting to see what adjustments the Titans make coming out of the bye. The Ravens rank 30th in the league against the run allowing 132.8 yards per game. That is in large part due to the fact that the Bears ran for 231 yards against them 3 weeks ago. Jordan Howard had 167 of those yards on 36 carries. There is no doubt that Mike Mularkey and Terry Robiskie were giddy watching that film this week.

Can the Titans replicate the Bears success? We shall see.
