Week 7 around the AFC South

Week 7 was tough for the Indianapolis Colts. They got boatraced at home by the Jaguars, and they lost Malik Hooker for the year with a torn ACL. Now we are on Chuck Pagano watch. If I were to place money on a thing like this, I would place money on Pagano being the first coach fired this year. Also, it doesn’t appear that Andrew Luck is walking through that door in 2017. The Colts travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in week 8.

As mentioned above, the Jaguars continued their up, down, up, down trend this week. After they got handled last week by the Los Angeles Rams, they hammered the Colts this week in Indianapolis. There are a lot of people starting to buy them as a legit AFC contender. Those people have apparently forgotten that Blake Bortles is still the quarterback. The Jaguars were on a bye in week 8.

The Texans were on a bye in week 7. The biggest news for them is that Duane Brown ended his holdout. He is expected to play against the Seahawks in week 8.

Week 7 AFC South standings:

  1. Tennessee Titans 4-3
  2. Jacksonville Jaguars 4-3
  3. Houston Texans 3-3
  4. Indianapolis Colts 2-5
