Mike Mularkey had his regular Monday press conference today. There were quite a few injury update nuggets that we will get to in a minute, but the most important one is that COREY DAVIS WILL PRACTICE WHEN THE PLAYERS ARE BACK ON THE PRACTICE FIELD NEXT MONDAY. This offense really needs Davis on the field. It sounds like that is finally going happen against the Ravens.
Mularkey also expects Johnathan Cyprien back after the bye. That isn’t quite as exciting as getting Davis back, but it is still pretty important.
As far as injuries that happened in yesterday’s game, Delanie Walker has a bone bruise. That is apparently better news than if he had a sprain. Playing through a bone bruise is a pain tolerance issue. I would bet a lot of money on Walker being out there against the Ravens.
The news is not as good on Quinton Spain. He has turf toe and Mularkey made it sound like he might miss some time. Hello Brian Schwenke!
