Adam Schefter is reporting this morning that both DeMarco Murray and Delanie Walker are expected to play for the Tennessee Titans in Cleveland vs. the Browns. Both guys were listed as questionable on the final injury report- Murray was a hamstring injury that has bothered him since August, and Walker with a calf injury that popped up this week.
It is obviously good news for the Titans to have both of these guys in their arsenal. However, with the fact that DeMarco has been battling this injury since training camp, it seems like it would make a lot of sense for him to sit this week and then have the bye week to recover as well. There is always the chance that he only handles the third down work with Derrick Henry getting the vast majority of the carries.
Delanie has a great match-up here against the Browns who bleed catches, yards and touchdowns to the tight end position. He hasn’t had a big game since week 2 in Jacksonville. Today is a really good spot for him to go off.
