Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network tweeted this earlier this morning:
Similar feelings from Nashville and Atlanta on injuries to QB Marcus Mariota and WR Julio Jones: Cautious optimism heading into their MRIs.

That doesn’t mean the Titans don’t expect him to miss any time, but it sounds like they aren’t expecting an extended absence. I do believe the Titans can go to Miami and beat the Dolphins with Matt Cassel, but he isn’t a good long-term solution.
You want to see something really sad?
Since coming to TN in 1997, only 4 times has same QB started all 16 games for #Titans. Steve McNair in '97, '98, '02. Matt Hasselbeck in '11

We talk a lot about the curse of Titans wide receivers. Maybe we should be talking about the curse of the Titans quarterbacks. It is hard to be consistently good when you don’t have consistency under center. How many other teams have only had the same starter for all 16 games 4 times in 20 years? That’s brutal.
Maybe this will all be a moot point. Maybe Mariota’s hamstring will respond well this week and he will be able to go against the Dolphins. We can always hope, right?
