The Titans still have a lot of room for improvement on defense. We all know that, but just how much? Well according to Pro Football Focus they have been the second worst defense in the NFL through 6 weeks. Here is what PFF had to say about them:
The Titans began the season well, but have allowed big days to some questionable offenses, including getting eviscerated by Houston Texans quarterback, Deshaun Watson. The talent is there for this unit to improve, as some of their better players have had uncharacteristically slow starts to the season, and much rests on the development of Adoree’ Jackson at cornerback.
They also listed the best and worst defender from each defense. Wesley Woodyard, to no surprise, is the Titans highest graded defender to this point. He has a grade of 86.3. The Titans lowest graded defender is Jayon Brown with a 41.9. My guess is that he is still suffering from a rough game against the Seahawks.
So what do you think? Do the Titans really have the 2nd worst defense in the entire league?
