This morning we got news that the Browns are going back to DeShone Kizer at quarterback. That appears to have done absolutely nothing to the line in this game. The Titans were a 5.5 point favorite when I checked the line last night, and they are still a 5.5 point favorite.
Since this game is in Cleveland, and Vegas typically gives the home team about 3 points, that means Vegas thinks the Titans are 9 points better than the Browns. As Terry and I discussed on the podcast last night (Locked on Titans please subscribe, rate and review on iTunes), the Titans need to go up there and start fast. They haven’t been able to put a team away early this year. Sunday is the time to do just that.
The total of this game is at 46.5. That is on the higher end of week 7 totals because there are quite a few games with really low totals. This game could easily go over if the Titans come out and put up a bunch of points early. That will put the Browns in catch-up mode and that will present opportunities for scoring on both sides.
Take the Titans and the over.*
