Titans Practice Report: Marcus Mariota limited, Mularkey hopeful

An update.

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

Hopefully we are nearing the end of the Marcus Mariota injury saga. The Titans have sort of strung us along this week with updates, but they are hopeful that he’s able to go on Monday night against the Colts.

Titans’ head coach Mike Mularkey said that Mariota didn’t have any setbacks this week with his injured hamstring. He said that the team is hopeful Mariota can play. Mularkey mentioned that he did a little more today and that he would do a little more tomorrow, which is what we’ve heard for two weeks.

Mariota was officially listed as limited during the Friday practice session.

Tackle Taylor Lewan was a full go today. He was forced to leave the game against the Dolphins last week with a knee injury, but appears ready to go for Monday. Linebacker Darren Bates suffered a knee strain and was limited today.

Corey Davis and Johnathan Cyprien have already been ruled out.
