Marcus Mariota said that “he felt a lot better” following Wednesday’s practice. The quarterback missed last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins with a hamstring strain. He was able to practice last week, but the Titans chose to play it safe and keep him on the sidelines. Marcus said that he “feels good” about his chances of playing this week.
We didn’t get any official word, but there does seem to be some growing optimism in the Mariota camp.
Mariota isn’t the only guy that the Titans are monitoring. Taylor Lewan left Sunday’s game with a knee injury. He’s currently listed as day by day.
Elsewhere, 5th overall pick Corey Davis wasn’t able to practice today and was ruled out.

Safety Johnathan Cyprien was also ruled out. Mike Mularkey said that he’s likely out until after the bye week.
