The Titans were well represented at the Pro Bowl on Sunday. Jim Wyatt gives a breakdown on how each of the guys did. The two that stood out the most during their time of play was Walker and Casey. Walker scored the AFCs first touchdown on a 26 yard catch from a throw made by ex-teammate Alex Smith. He flashed some fancy footwork to make sure he had both feet inbounds when he hit the end zone as well. Casey stuffed Zeke early in the backfield, decked Prescott, was part of a group tackle that stopped Elliott short on the goal line, and also threw running back Jordan Howard to the ground. Casey don't let up!
Quick Hit: Titans praised by peers at Pro Bowl.
Jerome Bettis has some praise for Mularkey and the Titans. He sees a lot of similarities between the Titans and the Steelers teams he played on, but it's easy to see why. Bettis and Mularkey spent time together for eight seasons on those Steelers teams. Bettis said he was thrilled to see Mularkey have success in his first year as head coach with the Titans, and is happy to see him making the most out of his third opportunity at being the head coach of a team. Bettis feels things are heading in the right direction for the Titans, and that the team has good young players, and the team is on their way. Thanks for the kind words, Bus!
