Titans Pro Bowl Links!
Delanie Walker was selected to his second pro bowl this season. He had to wait 10 seasons to go to the Pro Bowl the first last season, and he thinks the wait has made him appreciate the Pro Bowl more. He says he appreciates being at the Pro Bowl with all the guys that play the game so well, and now he wants to keep proving himself. Travis Kelce of the KC Chiefs said he is impressed by Delanie's size, how he moves, and how strong he is. Alex Smith, also with the Chiefs, is happy to see Walker having success in Tennessee. The two played together in San Francisco, and Smith says there is no doubt that Walker is showing growth as a player.
Pro Bowl week has been a wild ride for Jurrell Casey. The "wild ride" isn't football related either...we're talking Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios type "wild ride." He wasn't a big fan of the ride. He says this was his first time really riding a roller coaster. Apparently those aren't really his thing, but he figured he was at the Pro Bowl, so why not? This is his second trip to the Pro Bowl, and he isn't taking it for granted. He says a lot of people deserve to be there, and you definitely have to enjoy it and love it.
Taylor Lewan moved to right tackle for the Pro Bowl. Last off-season all we heard were rumors that Lewan was going to be shifted over to play right tackle. Lewan squashed those rumors by impressing all those around him at left tackle during OTAs, training camp, and the preseason. What's funny is Lewan is one of three left tackles that made it to the Pro Bowl. No right tackles were named. The other two named were Andrew Whitworth and Joe Thomas. Lewan is a "greenhorn" when it comes to the Pro Bowl, so he was picked to play right tackle for the game. (Side note: Terry McCormick says you can expect the Titans to pick up Lewan's fifth-year option).
