Happy New Year!
These will be a bit fast today because of reasons.
The Titans ran in the new year with a win against the Texans! WHOO! The Titans finally formed an identity this season, and that was perhaps their biggest accomplishment. Orakpo says the team has a blueprint now, and a foundation, and are going to build off of that.
Quick Hit: Murray might need surgery on his toe.
Mariota had to sit out the final game of the season thanks to the stupid Jaguars. So what is next for Mariota? Lewan says a Super Bowl. Lewan said he has no worries that Mariota will return strong from his injury, will be better next year, will become a Pro Bowler next year, and will be in the Super Bowl.
The Titans turned it around in a big way this season, and Mularkey deserves a lot of credit for that. A lot of people, myself included, weren't initially thrilled with the hiring of Mularkey during last year's off-season, or didn't like the "hiring process" (that was my main gripe). Well. Mularkey came out and proved us nay sayers wrong.
Jim Wyatt gives us six hot topics from Mularkey's press conference yesterday. Some topics that were discussed: Saying goodbye to the 2016 season, changing expectations, Mariota, Running Backs, Kevin Dodd, the possibility of staff changes, and the impact of Tim Shaw.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
