The 2017 NFL Pro Bowl kicks off at 7:00PM CST from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a preview of this year’s Pro Bowl.
This is not a game I usually commit my time to watching. However, this year will feature the highest number of Titans (five) in a Pro Bowl game since we had six in 2008.
The game will be airing on ESPN and streaming via WatchESPN.com.
Marcus Mariota should be playing in this game, but sadly, his unfortunate fibula fracture has, of course, kept him from participating. I think it is extremely stupid that he does not get to add a Pro Bowl to his resume due to injury. Had he been healthy, he would have been the first selection to replace Derek Carr. In my opinion, he should still get credit for that Pro Bowl.
At the end of the day, Pro Bowl selections are generally regarded with minimal respect, so it doesn’t much matter. Alex Smith and Andy Dalton will continue to perpetuate that belief by appearing in this year’s game.
Hopefully, Mariota will be forced to decline a Pro Bowl invitation each year for the rest of his career (because Super Bowlz), or at least as many times as Tom Brady.
