Great idea. Let’s do that here as well.
Mine is the Joe Nedney game when the Titans beat the Steelers in the playoffs back in 2003. In that game Nedney hit a 42-yard field goal with just under 6 minutes to go in the 4th quarter to tie the game.
Then, in overtime, Steve McNair led the offense down the field and set up a 31-yard field goal to win the game. Nedney made the kick. The fireworks at then Adelphia Coliseum went off. It didn’t count, however, because the Steelers called timeout right before the snap.
Nedney lined up for the kick again and this time he missed. However, Nedney pulled off one heck of an acting job and spun around and fell down after Dewayne Washington barely hit his leg. The refs through a flag for running into the kicker.
That moved the kick up 5 yards and Nedney hit the game winner. It was awesome.
