Super Bowl 51: Who has Titans ties?

You’ll be surprised the Falcons made the big game after seeing the list.

The Atlanta Falcons are an offensive juggernaut. They have more weapons that just about any team I can remember over the last decade. It is really a lot of fun to watch their offense hum along with Matt Ryan in complete control.

The most amazing part about the fact that the Falcons are in the Super Bowl is the list of former Titans they have in their organization- Andy Levitre, Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Ruston Webster. That is an all-star cast right there.

The Titans traded Levitre to the Falcons before the 2015 season. They received a sixth-round pick in 2016 and a conditional 2017 pick. That pick is also a sixth per Paul Kuharsky. If you don’t remember Levitre, he was the guy that Ruston Webster signed to a 6-year $46 million dollar contract before the 2013 season. To be fair, we were all really excited when he signed. He turned out to be terrible here.

How bad is Wreh-Wilson?

That’s just one play, but it is indicative of his entire time with the Titans.

Webster gave us Taylor Lewan and Marcus Mariota. He was terrible otherwise.

The Patriots don’t have any players on their roster that played for the Titans, but they do have Jason McCourty’s twin brother, Devin.

UPDATE- Blake Jackson pointed out on Twitter that LeGarrette Blount played for the Titans. That is technically true, although he never played in a regular season game here.
