The two title games today were duds. The two teams that won, the Falcons and Patriots, were clearly the best teams in their respective conferences right now. Super Bowl LI should be a game that is fun to watch with a lot of offense.
Can we just take a minute and talk about Julio Jones? He has been slowed by a toe injury for a couple of months now that keeps him out of practice most of the week. That didn’t stop him today from going out there and posting a 9/180/2 line. Bill Belichick will be seeing JULIO! in his nightmares for the next 2 weeks.
The Patriots opened as a 3 point favorite. The game has an over/under set at 57.5. Don’t be surprised if that is bet up to almost 60 before the game kicks off in Houston in two weeks.
For recreational purposes only, I am all in on the Falcons and the over. Atlanta has so many weapons on offense, and this Patriots defense, while solid, isn’t good enough to shut them down. My early prediction is Falcons 34-30.
Here is everything you need to know about watching the game:
Kickoff: 5:30 central
Location: NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas

Announcers: Joe Buck and Troy Aikman
