Jim Irsay announced on Twitter this morning that Andrew Luck is recovering from shoulder surgery:
Andrew recovering from successful outpatient surgery to fix right shoulder injury that had lingered since 2015. Will be ready for season!

There were quite a few times this year where Luck would miss practice during the week because of his shoulder. He played in 15 of 16 games- the one he missed was the Thanksgiving game against the Steelers because of a concussion that he suffered in the game against the Titans while not missing a play- but I digress.
Luck, outside of the games against the Titans, hasn’t been the superstar quarterback that most people say that he is the last couple of years. Maybe this shoulder injury was holding him back.
The Colts are the scariest team in the AFC South to me because they have Luck. The Texans and the Jaguars have a lot of good pieces, but they don’t have a quarterback. But hey, as long as the Colts keep Chuck Pagano as the head coach, things are going to be just fine.
