Titans claim TE Jace Amaro

Tennessee claimed 2014 draft pick Jace Amaro from waivers today after he failed to make the Jets roster. The TE puts Supernaw on notice. He brings size at 6"6' with some receiving ability. He played effectively for one year, before a torn labrum prematurely ended his season in 2015. He's an intriguing add to a roster of TEs featuring Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano, adding youth and potential. Mike Mularkey has a thing for Tight Ends, so not a huge shocker here. But you'd like to see them attend to the CB group too...

The Titans released defensive lineman Mehdi Abdesmad to accommodate Amaro.
