"Alright!
Stop whatcha doin'
'cause I'm about to ruin,
the image and the style that ya used to..."
Titans Links!
Here are three quick notes from yesterday's practice. The Texans will be without JJ Watt on Sunday. Rats. That's just horrible. Even though Watt will be missing, the Texans defensive front is still nothing to take lightly. Their defensive front is still quite formidable, so the game plan and preparation isn't changing. Wright is feeling good. Wright fully participated yesterday, and he said he felt good. More injuries (ugh). Searcy is already ruled out for Sunday, and could possibly miss even more weeks. Walker missed practiced, but Mularkey expects him to play on Sunday. Spain also didn't practice. Sharpe was limited, and Riggs suffered a hamstring injury during practice. Jeez. What is the deal with these guys getting hamstring injuries?
Quick Hit: Behind Enemy Lines: Inside look at the Texans
Mariota will be facing the Texans for the first time on Sunday. Mettenberger filled in for both games last season, but Mariota was paying attention from the sidelines. He was also a part of the game planning last year, and that helped him get a sense of what the Texans do. He was asked what has been holding the offense back, and he simply responded: Turnovers. He puts the turnovers on himself, and notes that it is something he needs to improve on. He says he learns best from experience, and I'm certainly hopeful he learns from these recent experiences.
Quick Hit: Tanney chose the Titans' practice squad, raise, and culture over the Browns.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
