Delanie Walker misses Titans’ Wednesday practice

The plan is for the tight end to return to practice Thursday.

Delanie Walker missed practice today. That is not a surprise. Mike Mularkey said on Monday that the plan was for Delanie to practice on Thursday. Walker sounded optimistic he will be ready to go on Sunday yesterday on his radio show.

DaNorris Searcy and Quinton Spain also missed Tuesday’s practice. Both guys were injured and did not finish the game on Sunday. The Titans are already down to their third guard. Hopefully Spain will be able to play or we will see Brian Schwenke or Sebastian Tretola in that spot.

One name you did not see on the list of players that missed practice is Kendall Wright. It seems like Wright will make his 2016 debut on Sunday. The Titans need all of the weapons they can get. Wright hasn’t lived up to what I hoped he would be when they drafted him, but there is no doubt his speed will help the team....if he can stay on his feet (sorry, I couldn’t help it).
