Titans add Jordan Leslie to practice squad; release Antwaun Woods

Jon Robinson keeps working on the roster.

The Titans added WR Jordan Leslie to the practice squad today. Leslie was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015. He has also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons waived him at the end of camp this summer.

The corresponding roster move was the release of Antwaun Woods from the practice squad. You might remember that I was widely mocked for not including Woods on my roster projections during the preseason. People looked at the depth chart on Titans Online, which was probably posted by someone in media relations, and saw Woods second. They thought that automatically meant he was going to make the team. Well the problem is he isn’t that good at football.

It is good to see Robinson out there working the bottom of the roster. The Titans can still use help at receiver. Maybe Leslie can be a guy that can eventually help.
