As you can see above the Titans have officially moved Chance Warmack to IR. It was announced yesterday that he would have surgery on his finger and that would land him on IR. To replace Warmack on the roster the Titans have promoted Curtis Riley from the practice squad to the active roster. The Titans signed Riley as an undrafted free agent back in May.
The Titans added Karim Barton to the practice squad to replace Riley. Barton has spent time with the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans in his short NFL career. He played his college ball at Morgan State.
The whole Warmack case is still a little bit curious to me. The team has made it clear that Warmack had a choice to play through the injury or have the surgery and head to IR. Warmack, in a contract year, chose the surgery. Something about all of it just seems weird to me.
