NFL: Tennessee Titans at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans offensive line had a very good game against the Lions according to Pro Football Focus. Jack Conklin graded out the best of the offensive lineman and was one of the top graded players in the NFL at PFF for week 2. This is just another feather in Jon Robinson’s cap from his first offseason as the Titans GM.

Here is what the people at PFF had to say about Conklin:

Conklin did get blown up on an early run play, but apparently he was perfect in pass protection. There is no doubt he is playing well early in his NFL career. Hopefully he will continue to improve as the season goes along.

It is also important to note that Taylor Lewan graded out well in this game as well. The Titans might finally have their bookend tackles that they have been searching for since the days of Michael Roos and David Stewart. Now they can spend their first round draft picks on a different position!
